Happy Mother's Day

I love my mom so much and am so grateful for her! She is my absolute best friend! I cant wait until i can be a mom like her. My mom does so much to support our family. Her life is surrounded around things me and the boys are doing. I am grateful for the example she sets for me. I love you so much mom:) Daisies!

So i came home from sewing today to see a prize on the top counter with my name on it! (Not really my name but it was girly stuff so it couldnt have been my brothers;)) My mom went to a boutique today and brought back these headbands!!! They are so cute and i love the colors! It looks like something simple and fun to make in my sewing class i think i might try it! Thank you mommy dearest i love you!! <3 The top is a brown and cream swirl pattern with red and pink leaves and a pea green flower!
The bottom is a white and black and yellow pattern with a yellow flower!

The third one i am wearing and its a grayish blue polka dot pattern with a strip of blue/gray with red flowers and one big red flower!! She also brought my favorite homeade lollipop! Yummmm

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

I have told myself over and over that the more i fill in my time with fun events and things to be doing all the time.....the faster it will fly by...and i have had success!!!! School is over in about 35 days summer will be here and i will be freeee!!!!!! So here is what has been going on in my life lately!!
Silly me i sprained my ankle dancing for the Celebration...crutches are the worse thing ever invented and i am so glad to be rid of them.....going on the stinky elevator at school was not the most thrilling thing ever.... I started a sewing class with a lovely older lady in my ward who is teaching me just about EVERYTHING there is to know about sewing. She completely turned her basement into a sewing room and has about 5 sewing machines! 5!!! So every saturday morning (yes i wake up early) from 9-noon i learn and practice sewing.....look at my stitches!!! Awww such a beginner...
Sister Nixon taught me and some girls how to sew a pillow case, one of the easy things to sew (haha....NOT) i forget what this fabric was called which is a bummer since i have spent time learning all the names....cuddleskin is my favorite:) isnt it beautiful? Its beige with dark brown lace....PERFECT for my room...I am now making (myself) a purplish....kinda? high waisted pencil skirt.....the material is GORGEOUS!! and so far i have cuz out my pattern and have gotten measured so i can sew it to fit me perfectly!! Cant wait for it to be finished!!

During our temple celebration dance practice we were surprised with the news that a certain celebrity was coming to the chori practice! so after a quick closing prayer we all drove off into the rain to hunt for our favorite pop star!! On kasey's birthday we were surprised with tickets to David's concert!!! Hes so good at performing and i had a really fun time!

i finally....FINALLY got my permit!! I didnt do so well on my test but i passed! So thats good! I just got back from driving range and i have found im pretty good at parallel parking...something i was scared of! Im excited to drive:)
We went to the temple as a family over spring break! The flowers were beautiful!

Despite the snow that has come to us in....APRIL!.....Grrrrr.....And as much as i hate the snow this was very very pretty. I cannot WAIT for the open house i love the temple so much!

Sean is 16 tomorrow and i wanted to do something special....hard to come up with that when you live across the country from one another...so i made a slideshow with pictures of our memories. To show what great fun we had. I love sean and so does my whole family. I appreciate the kind of example he is to me and he makes me strive to become such a better person. He loves the Gospel and honors his priesthood. He strives one day to serve a mission. I love his testimony and it stengthens mine. Happy 16 birthday!!! Save a date for me please!!!!:)

This is what happens.....

Wouldnt you agree with me if i said it is NOT NORMAL for a 15 year old to start graying? Well i am.....and i am 15....and yes i only found one white hair, but it made me go insane for about 15 minutes. Heres my story....

I was brushing my hair the other day and saw something shiny in the mirror!So i looked further and saw a shiny strand of white hair...in my head. So i pulled it out and it was so thick it felt like a cord!! And it was so stiff!! Well i wanted to show my mom, but where can you set down a white hair that is still visible and wont get lost?....Thats right...on a black surface. I had no black surface...excpet for my black boots lying on the floor of my bedroom...so i laid it there, plain as day so i could show my mom when i got home. Sure enough i forgot about it, and came home to pick of a few of my belongings off my floor. One belonging was my boots. Which i put in my closet. Which means.........yes i lost the hair:( oh man:(well it was there....and this was my face expression when i first saw the hair...

Well actually it was more of a scrunched up, confused kind of expression....this lady just pulls off "shocked" very nicely....and she's got a full head of white hair. At this rate, i could look like her by my 20's.....oh boy.

.:The Lake:.

Taking pictures of the lake is one of my favorite things to do. There is so much to take there and lots of little details that makes it so beautiful there. I compared the differences of the lake from the pictures i took today, vs. the pictures i took several months ago.....the differences are so crazy!!

Even thought the sun and the heat are literally my best friends....i have become interested in the cold weather and how different it makes everything and everyONE look....its so interesting...i also looked at pictures i took of the neighborhood and temple when we first moved here and i dont remember that much green!!! or trees!!! actually living in a state where theres more than one season is pretty spectacular...

I figured since me blog was mostly made up around photography...i should post pictures on some new photos i have taken:) Since the Oquirrah Mountain Temple is about 100 feet away from my front door....LITERALLY....i decided to take a walk down there this afternoon and capture how it is looking so far. Might i add i think i went some places i probably wasnt allowed to go to take these pictures:) But the construction workers just waved and smiled as i snuck around takin pictures....i sure had fun:)

On the walk back home i noticed a beautiful thing. THE BIRDS ARE BACK!!!! yes you heard right....i said the birds are back....I heard their cute churping and just about flipped!!! Right when i got in the door i instantly told my mom.....I have never been so excited to see birds before.....cuz birds means warmth, and warmth means summer.....and summer.....means alot:)
